How does Iraq compare to Afghanistan?

I just got out of the Army, I was an Engineer, a Construction Equipment Operator with a Combat Engineer BN. I was deployed to Iraq for 15 months doing convoys, and construction projects all over Iraq building bases and addition to small remote FOBs for Americans, Brits, and Iraqis, crater repair, training Iraqi Engineers, and helping the 21Bs with route clearance. I always wondered how different Afghanistan is. I want someone who has been deployed to both countries doing some sort of combat operation, or lots of conoys around both Iraq, and Afghanistan to tell me what's the same, what's diffrent, how different are Iraqis, and Afghans, and which was worse since I never got to see Afghanistan. Thanks
