Any accent that is different from the environment they are from (even southern, east coast, Canadian, and west coast U.S.A.) will be an attraction. In fact, anyone who has a foreign accent from the area they are at will be an attraction. It will be a phase for quite a while but will soon die off and get old. You'll just have to hang in there.
