Scenario: Russian Helicopter Attack on US Convoy?

I refer you to the spring of 2003 when an ENTIRE BATTALION of AH-64D Apache's were put out of action by small arms fire. Attack helicopters are extremely vulnerable to ground fire particularly when they attack unsupported like you propose here.
