Getting in the Air Force with a Tattoo on my Hand?
I'm prior service Army 4 years in a Combat Engineer Battalion, and spent 15 months in Iraq so I have combat experience doing lots and lots of convoys, construction, and route clearance which the Air Force doesn't see too much of. Which I hope they would like. I have a few tats but one in peticular. A shamrock on my left hand. Its nothing in bad taste, racist or anything like that. Will the Air Force let me in with it or not? I know they allow up to 1/4 of a body part covered in ink before its a problem. The shamrock covers maybe a 3rd of my hand. If they do have an issue with it could I get a waiver? Thanks
